Read the columns together
Damage is only one parameter. Range, speed, weight, proficiency requirement, and proficiency scaling affect how a weapon fits a plan. The source does not establish a universal unit for the speed field, so it is retained as a parameter rather than labelled attacks per second.
The table’s sell price is not a purchase price. A Craftable flag says that the reference marks an item as craftable; it is not a complete recipe or proof that every material is readily available.
Light, Medium, and Heavy
Filter the table by class to compare the weapons that fit the type you are using. The beginner reference warns that the first tutorial weapon choice has a type restriction and that changing the chosen type is not freely available without wiping the slot. Check that restriction before planning around an unrelated class.
Use source values as a shortlist. A useful comparison also observes attack recovery, reach in practice, critical attacks, and how the target responds to your sequence.
Upgrading proficiency and learning skills
The community FAQ lists enemy hits as one way to earn proficiency experience. Treat weapon progression as two related tasks:
- Proficiency: fill its experience bar and check the money and unspent stat-point requirements before purchasing the next increase.
- Weapon skills: visit the appropriate Dojo or trainer and inspect the ability’s proficiency gate, skill-point cost and Marks price.
Raf_Dev’s weapons walkthrough visits the trainers and separates purchasing abilities from earning proficiency experience. Buying a new weapon does not automatically teach every skill in its class.
If a skill is unavailable, compare the weapon class, current proficiency and purchase resources. If proficiency itself is blocked, return to the three checks in the attribute guide. Exact prices and caps can change, so read the purchase screen rather than treating an old demonstration as a price list.
Obtaining a weapon
The reference describes purchase, drop, and crafting routes, depending on the weapon. It identifies Dull Rapier, Vulcan’s Rapier, and Dull Longsword as examples marked purchasable. It does not document an exact vendor, drop chance, or location for every item in the list.
Undocumented acquisition details should not become a guessed farming route. When a route is known, record the NPC or enemy, region, conditions, and date before adding a dedicated item guide.
Build around the encounter
A weapon used successfully in a video may depend on the creator’s stats, mastery, traits, and target. The build framework helps record those dependencies, while equipment covers the bonuses you add around the weapon.
