A passive is more useful than a rarity label

Race affects character creation, appearance, and passive bonuses. The comparison above focuses on the actual effect instead of assigning a universal best race.

Mana efficiency can matter to a casting plan, while a melee stacking bonus depends on maintaining its hit condition. An economy passive serves a different task again. The highest rarity does not automatically fit every build.

What the listed chances mean

The seven chances in the current reference total 100%. They describe the documented roll pool rather than results measured by this wiki. The reference also mentions Archangel with a 0% weight and marks it unobtainable, so it is excluded from the obtainable-race table.

Some older tables mix an individual race chance with a broader rarity figure, and disagree about certain passives. Keep those two probability concepts separate when comparing sources.

Rerolling a race

The current Races reference lists main-menu purchases and in-game acquisition through purchasing, trading, or a low-chance Gladiator drop. It distinguishes between a main-menu reroll that is untradable and a more expensive in-game purchase that can be traded.

Confirm the exact item, current price, and trade restriction before purchasing. The page does not establish a verified Gladiator drop probability.

Before using a Race Reroll

Check that the selected item changes race, then read its trade restriction and the current confirmation. A grimoire reroll changes magic; the Lady of the Lake’s attribute-reset option serves another purpose.

A release-day livestream opens Bestiary and Professions rewards, discusses Locked Essence, and visits the shop’s reroll options. This supplies a gameplay reward route to investigate rather than assuming every reroll requires Robux. The video does not establish a permanent price or drop rate.

Keep your current race passive in mind before spending. A rare replacement is not necessarily better for the task your existing loadout serves.

Does wiping reroll my race?

The reviewed reference says no: wiping character data is not a way to reset race. A wipe and a Race Reroll serve different purposes. The magic reroll notes describe a separate grimoire system.

Race, family, and trait are different

Race is the character origin described here. A family name is a separate source of identity or bonuses. A trait is an unlock with its own requirements. Do not spend on one system expecting it to automatically reroll the others.

A full, current family-name dataset has not been validated for this release. We avoid merging an older family table into the race probabilities.

Contract and appearance notes

The references mention contract-related passives and visual variants, but their current availability is not fully established. The race comparison uses the clearer stat and combat effects and leaves contract progression out of a performance ranking.
