Stats & attributes
Understand the six listed attributes, the difference between stat and skill points, proficiency checks, and the Lady of the Lake reset option.
What each attribute affects
| Attribute | Community-listed effect |
|---|---|
| Agility | Movement and combat finesse |
| Endurance | Maximum resolve |
| Vitality | Maximum health and toughness |
| Strength | Misdirect damage and physical-attack scaling, according to the current reference |
| Intelligence | Maximum mana capacity |
| Magic Power | Magical damage |
These are effect descriptions, not tested per-point formulas. Older sources use labels such as Light Intensity or Shadow Intensity. Match a guide’s term to the current stat interface before following an allocation.
Attributes and combat stats are different
An attribute is a place to invest points. A combat stat is a resulting value on the character or equipment panel. BloxInformer’s stat reference uses these terms:
| Combat stat | What to check |
|---|---|
| Health | Your available health and bonuses from the equipped loadout |
| Energy | The resource displayed by the game; compare the cost shown on an ability |
| Physical Resistance | Protection associated with incoming physical damage |
| Magic Resistance | Protection associated with incoming magic damage |
| Physical PEN | Penetration associated with physical resistance |
| Magic PEN | Penetration associated with magic resistance |
| Mana Regen | Mana recovery rather than the maximum mana pool |
| PvE Damage | A modifier directed at non-player enemies |
The glossary does not establish a damage formula, resistance cap or guaranteed return per attribute point. In particular, a PvE bonus should not be added to a PvP damage estimate.
Stat points and skill points
Stat points are invested in attributes and progression requirements. Skill points are used for unlocks such as traits, passives, and weapon abilities. The source tables frequently shorten a cost to “Points”; that label is retained in our trait reference rather than silently assigning a currency type.
A stat threshold can make a trait available without granting its effect automatically. Check the level, quest, Marks, and preceding-trait requirements as well as the attribute investment.
Why weapon proficiency may not upgrade
The community FAQ says a proficiency upgrade needs unspent stat points, sufficient money, and a full proficiency experience bar. Hitting enemies is listed as a way to earn proficiency experience.
If an upgrade is unavailable, inspect all three conditions. A video showing a single requirement may be explaining one missing condition rather than the entire upgrade process. Our weapon table lists the proficiency requirement for each documented item.
Strength and weapon scaling: a source disagreement
The current Stats reference says Strength increases scaling on physical attacks. An older build video’s narration says weapon scaling comes from proficiency and that Strength affects misdirect and physical penetration. Those claims should not be blended into a new damage formula.
Until the current game’s scaling is measured, use the weapon’s listed proficiency field and verify actual damage under identical conditions. We do not publish a calculated DPS value or a guaranteed Strength multiplier.
Resetting attributes
The Stats reference directs players to the Lady of the Lake and the Gift of Renewal option. It describes the cost in terms of Insights and/or Marks but does not give a universal price.
Read the current dialogue and confirm what the selected gift resets. A stat reset, race reroll, and grimoire reroll are separate actions. Do not assume that one changes all three systems.
Planning a useful allocation
Start with a task: surviving a boss, maintaining mana, or enabling a particular trait. Write down the minimum requirements for that plan, then check the complete point budget and gear requirements. The build page provides two planning checklists without presenting an unfinished allocation as a tested build.
