Passives & unlocks

The reference places these passives at the Grimoire Echo in the Inner Realm. Meeting a requirement and purchasing an unlock are separate steps; inspect the current unlock screen before spending.

Vertical movement and displacement

Several documented moves lift or knock targets away, and one passive reduces airborne casting cost. Practice the spacing needed after a launch rather than assuming every launch is a guaranteed combo.

This is a reading of the documented mechanics, not a tested tier rating or guaranteed combo. Compare range, recovery, costs, and whether the target can evade the follow-up. A boss damage window and a player duel can reward different choices.

Use the attribute guide and trait requirements to check build dependencies. The build-planning page separates supported mechanics from untested recommendations.

Keeping track of height and spacing

Gale Updraft moves the caster, while several other Wind abilities lift or displace targets. Practise the resulting distance before chaining attacks: sending an enemy away can change whether the next move reaches.

The Aerial Efficiency description ties its mana benefit to casting while airborne. That condition matters more than simply possessing the passive. Use the current ability screen to check the requirement before building around repeated aerial casts.

  • Learn the difference between raising yourself and launching the target.
  • Observe where a target lands after a throw or tornado.
  • Check the airborne condition before comparing resource costs.

Cosmetic variants & reference notes

The overview and detail material disagree about variants. Their lists are shown separately below so that an unverified appearance is not presented as a confirmed current roll.

Variant availability remains unresolved between these references.

The overview describes variants as cosmetic. A configuration weight is not automatically a percentage probability, and we have not converted any variant weights into roll chances.

Getting Wind Magic

The current community overview lists the first magic quest at level 15, Wisdom Peak, with Wind occupying 20% of the listed roll pool. A recent unlock walkthrough explicitly corrects the older level-10 expectation to 15. Follow the current quest requirement if an update changes it.

A roll chance is not a promise about the next attempt. See reroll methods and wipe cautions before changing a grimoire. The beginner route explains the progression leading into the quest.
