Time Magic
The documented kit includes a slow zone, suspension, repositioning and a recent-damage rewind. Those mechanics do not by themselves demonstrate the highest damage or an overall best tier.

Control and damage recovery
The documented kit includes a slow zone, suspension, repositioning and a recent-damage rewind. Those mechanics do not by themselves demonstrate the highest damage or an overall best tier.
This is a reading of the documented mechanics, not a tested tier rating or guaranteed combo. Compare range, recovery, costs, and whether the target can evade the follow-up. A boss damage window and a player duel can reward different choices.
Use the attribute guide and trait requirements to check build dependencies. The build-planning page separates supported mechanics from untested recommendations.
Choosing a weapon around the encounter
Time’s listed kit mixes control with recovery: Slow Zone affects nearby movement, while Rewind concerns damage received shortly beforehand. The exact rewind window is not given, so test its current timing before relying on it to erase a dangerous exchange.
Ruejix prefers a quicker light weapon during his Time progression. Its_Nin’s Bael run uses Time in a posture-break encounter with a different attack rhythm. These are useful contexts to compare, not proof that one weapon class is mandatory for Time.
- Keep control opportunities separate from a guaranteed damaging follow-up.
- Read the current Rewind behavior rather than assuming a full heal.
- Compare your weapon’s recovery with the boss or player opening you are trying to use.
Cosmetic variants & reference notes
The overview and detail material disagree about variants. Their lists are shown separately below so that an unverified appearance is not presented as a confirmed current roll.
Gilded · Monochrome · Cosmic

Variant availability remains unresolved between these references.
The overview describes variants as cosmetic. A configuration weight is not automatically a percentage probability, and we have not converted any variant weights into roll chances.
Getting Time Magic
The current community overview lists the first magic quest at level 15, Wisdom Peak, with Time occupying 1% of the listed roll pool. A recent unlock walkthrough explicitly corrects the older level-10 expectation to 15. Follow the current quest requirement if an update changes it.
A roll chance is not a promise about the next attempt. See reroll methods and wipe cautions before changing a grimoire. The beginner route explains the progression leading into the quest.
