Area pressure and close-range control

The listed kit combines area explosions, a bind, a grab and a stun. Check which animations leave the caster exposed before treating it as a combo recommendation.

This is a reading of the documented mechanics, not a tested tier rating or guaranteed combo. Compare range, recovery, costs, and whether the target can evade the follow-up. A boss damage window and a player duel can reward different choices.

Use the attribute guide and trait requirements to check build dependencies. The build-planning page separates supported mechanics from untested recommendations.

Practising a Flame setup

Separate the tasks of catching a target, keeping it nearby and landing damage. Binding Flame, Fiery Grapple and Fire Stomp serve different control situations in the listed kit; a successful hit with one does not prove that every follow-up is guaranteed.

The Flame Fist recording below provides a concrete Flame-and-gauntlet example. Azure is named as the appearance, while the weapon and actual stat allocation remain separate loadout decisions.

  • Try the range and recovery of the grab before spending another cooldown.
  • Read the burn condition on Amplified Wrath rather than assuming every basic attack receives its benefit.
  • For a boss, reserve a reliable attack for the target’s vulnerable window.

Cosmetic variants & reference notes

The overview and detail material disagree about variants. Their lists are shown separately below so that an unverified appearance is not presented as a confirmed current roll.

Variant availability remains unresolved between these references.

The overview describes variants as cosmetic. A configuration weight is not automatically a percentage probability, and we have not converted any variant weights into roll chances.

Getting Flame Magic

The current community overview lists the first magic quest at level 15, Wisdom Peak, with Flame occupying 22% of the listed roll pool. A recent unlock walkthrough explicitly corrects the older level-10 expectation to 15. Follow the current quest requirement if an update changes it.

A roll chance is not a promise about the next attempt. See reroll methods and wipe cautions before changing a grimoire. The beginner route explains the progression leading into the quest.
